Cookie Policy

Last updated: May 2026

1. Current cookie position

Syncalio currently uses cookies and browser storage only where needed to operate the service: authentication, security, session handling, fraud prevention, core application functionality and language preference. Syncalio does not currently use third-party marketing or analytics cookies.

2. Strictly necessary cookies and storage

These cookies and storage items are required for login, session security, fraud prevention and core application functionality. They cannot be switched off without breaking the service.

  • Authentication/session cookies used to keep signed-in users logged in securely.
  • CSRF/security cookies used to protect forms and authentication flows.
  • Callback cookies used during Google or Microsoft sign-in and calendar connection flows.
  • Browser localStorage used for language preference and non-essential interface notices.

3. Cookie notice acknowledgement

The cookie notice stores the acknowledgement in browser localStorage so the notice does not keep appearing after the visitor chooses to continue with necessary cookies. This acknowledgement does not create optional tracking cookies and is not used for advertising or profiling.

4. No marketing or analytics cookies for now

Syncalio does not currently use tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, PostHog, Plausible or Mixpanel. If analytics or marketing cookies are added later, Syncalio will update this policy and request consent where required before using them.

5. Browser controls

Visitors can block or delete cookies through their browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent login, calendar connection, booking management or other core features from working correctly.
